David A. Castleman, Partner
David Castleman’s practice includes litigation in federal and state courts regarding commercial contracts, non-competition agreements, franchise terminations, church property disputes, legal malpractice, employment law, corporate fiduciary actions and personal injury. Mr. Castleman also has argued and/or briefed numerous cases in federal and state courts of appeal, including two cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, en banc.
Mr. Castleman’s practice also includes providing legal counseling to public school districts on many subjects, including the Sunshine Law, Teacher Tenure Act, Safe Schools Act, litigation matters and various tax laws.
Mr. Castleman has served as the president of the Valparasio University School of Law's St. Louis Alumni Council, concregation president of a church and as a parochial school board member. He currently coaches basketball in the Catholic Youth League, and previously coached for the Kirkwood-Webster Groves YMCA. He has also performed volunteer services for numerous charitable organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri, the Salvation army, Concordia-Kirkwood Lutheran Church and Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
