David Castleman’s practice includes litigation in federal and state courts in the areas of commercial contracts, non-competition agreements, franchise terminations, church property disputes, personal injury defense, legal malpractice, employment law and construction law. Mr. Castleman also has briefed and/or argued numerous cases in federal and state courts of appeal, including two cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, en banc.
Mr. Castleman’s practice also includes providing legal counseling to public school districts on many subjects, including the Sunshine Law, Teacher Tenure Act, Safe Schools Act, litigation matters and various tax laws affecting public school districts.
Mr. Castleman has also served as a member of a parochial school board and as congregational president of a church. He has done volunteer work for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri, and the Salvation Army. He has also been a basketball coach with the Kirkwood-Webster Groves YMCA and the Catholic Youth League.
